Aqueduct

Ooh, your choice makes me furious
oh, the pain is vicarious
yeah, scar-covered memories
marking everything
ooh, your choice makes me furious
oh, the pain is vicarious
yeah, scar-covered memories
marking everything, marring everything

Alone in your basement, holding real pieces of you
and what used to be
and what could have been
I want to shut these shades in a book
or turn them loose into the night
or burn them up with endless fire, endless fire

One aqueduct to the other one's life
channeling elixirs more sustaining than water
one of two aqueducts diverting the same stream
one of two choices, marking everything

We could have done anything together
we could have stood so tall together

Together.

  1. Hey guys!
Is this your page? Are you two making music again!?!?! That would be the awesome.

This is so cool! Stace and I were just listening to Drowning Shallows and I so I thought I would google you guys to see if anything was up. Is there music to go to these lyrics?

    Wishing the best-

    1. I didn't know that this blog was searchable! This is just a "practice space" for the visual side of our Song of Roland project.
So, to answer the question, yes, we are making music together, er, trying to, at least. From very far apart! I live in Portland, OR and Steven is in SLC UT!

Richard, holy crap, it has been years and years! How are you? What are you up to? I know that I can probably answer some of these questions myself by going to your blogs, but I want to hear from you, too!

  2. Hey! I want to join the conversation. Yeah, we are working on some music. I'm afraid that I'm the one who has slowed our progress as I haven't had a lot of time to work on things. But yes, we do have some music recorded that might interest you. I listened to your Niacin Library stuff the other day too, actually.
